We’ve used Magic Board Center many times on multiple trips to Lagos for board hire, surf lessons and now ding repair. They are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. They advise on where to go given wind, tide & swell conditions and ability of surfers. They have an excellent range of boards to rent and buy. Wetsuits are good quality. If you rent boards they include extremely good quality FCS softracks. I head some ding repairs done recently and they were absolutely top quality and very reasonably priced.

I took me 3 hours to get out of this Profesional place, they know so much about every surf board. It’s not only repairs…. You can see that is there passion. It is not commercial its really about the details of the boards and their knowledge. I never had so much advise on any place. Thanks

I’m gonna be honest with u all, this surfshop is the best. First encounter was to repair my board, excellent service, contact over WhatsApp, transparent and good prices. The estimated costs to fix my board were €80,- but at the end it turns out to be only €65, and they fixed the front and the back of the board. Then…

Went out to Lagos to hunt down a board, tried different shops tbh, but there’s no doubt this is the place to go. Rather than just buying a surfboard me and my mate got the full experience. Uncle Rik (the owner) as the teacher, had our full attention for over 2 hours to his surfboard technique, shapes and physics teachings. Personal service, knowledge and the eye and care for quality, all spot on! Would recommend anyone in the hunt for a board to swing in at magic board center! 100%. Thank you guys 🙂

An amazing place to get a lesson or rent a board! The whole team at The Magic Board Center are great, you won’t meet friendlier or more passion people in Lagos! I’ve had a few lessons in the past and this was by far the best and it really helps having instructor who love their job and want to help you. Depending on your level they break everyone into groups to make sure you get the most from you lesson. On the second day we just rented boards and the whole processes was quick and easy. All their boards are in great condition and well looked after. They’ll also advise you on the best spots to surf on the day.

Amazing selection of high quality boards and very cool rent-before-you buy system. I’m an experienced surfer with a lot of time spent at board stores around the world, and this is by far one of the best. They went above and beyond to help me… I almost feel guilty! I’ll be back. Had a surfboard dilemma wasn’t sure what to get. Had a great chat with the guys at Magic Board Center, really knowledgeable and helpful. Tested a 6’2″ Rusty Smoothie and absolutely loved it. A perfect way to buy a board! Defiantly recommend these guys and they have some fantastic boards to rent and buy.

Highly recommended. Very friendly shop owners with sound knowledge. You can change boards as often as u like and get a decent advice. You notice, that they know what they are talking about.
