We’ve used Magic Board Center many times on multiple trips to Lagos for board hire, surf lessons and now ding repair. They are extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. They advise on where to go given wind, tide & swell conditions and ability of surfers. They have an excellent range of boards to rent and buy. Wetsuits are good quality. If you rent boards they include extremely good quality FCS softracks. I head some ding repairs done recently and they were absolutely top quality and very reasonably priced.

I booked my 13yo daughter onto a 1 day course and she wanted to do 2 more days. She’s had surf lessons in several places and this was one of the best. Very good ratios of instructor to pupil and not much faffing about on the beach – 3 hours water time.
Shop staff are super helpful as well. Will probably rent a board from them next time I visit.

An amazing place to get a lesson or rent a board! The whole team at The Magic Board Center are great, you won’t meet friendlier or more passion people in Lagos! I’ve had a few lessons in the past and this was by far the best and it really helps having instructor who love their job and want to help you. Depending on your level they break everyone into groups to make sure you get the most from you lesson. On the second day we just rented boards and the whole processes was quick and easy. All their boards are in great condition and well looked after. They’ll also advise you on the best spots to surf on the day.

We came to Lagos with a group of friends and after reading the reviews decided to try surf lessons. We never surfed before so it was important for us to choose for the right place. And we did!

Magic Board Center is a very nice place focused on surfboards and everything about surfing. They explained us about lessons and we decided to do it. We had such a great time! Teachers are very positive and helpful. Most of us even stood up on the first lesson. Incredible feeling!

After taking some lessons we felt confident enough to rent boards and go on our own. And guys from Magic Board Center helped us here again. They chose the right boards, gave advice on where and when to go, gave some safety tips. We were also pleasantly surprised about the condition of their equipment, you can see that they take care about it.

We are very happy that we found them and would recommend everybody to check this place!

Very professional and helpful surf shop. Was happy to find this place since the personal really helped me a lot in finding the best spot, with transport and everything. They seemed very friendly and professional, and being in the business because their love surfing, not being after the money.

Best I Could have asked for. These guys in Lagos are the best! Absolutely love them, they have made our trip unforgettable. The service they provide is way over 5star, all the equipments are outstanding, boards are very well looked after, wetsuits are perfect. Extremely helpful people with big big heart 🙂

We booked a three day surftraining for our daughter Mira (15) from Magic Board Center. As parents we were looking for a place we could trust a 100%. We are very happy about our decision. Everybody was very friendly, very thoughtful (the right skill level, safety) and well organised. Most important: Each day Mira came back with a great smile on her face.
